Installation of high-performance cut-to-length
line at Delta-Stahl begins

On 9 March 2009, the first components
for the new high-performance cut-to-length line were delivered by
Maschinenfabrik Heinrich Georg in Kreuztal. First the coiler (up to
32 tonnes) and the scrap baller were installed on the 800-square-metre
foundation. The additional components such as motor, trimming shears,
eccentric shears, straightening machine and stacker will be subsequently
delivered and installed. We are right on schedule with this ambitious
project and anticipate operational start-up in early June 2009.
