The coil processing division including its approximately 40 employees was acquired by KNAUF INTERFER effective 1 May 2010 and now operates under the name Interfer Stahl GmbH, Nürtingen subsidiary. This strategic acquisition in one of our group's core product areas means another significant increase in volume of hot rolled products for the steel service unit. In addition to Interfer Stahl Nürtingen, other members of the group include Stahl Service Center Walter Patz (Mudersbach), Delta-Stahl (Barsinghausen), Max Baum Stahl Service (Duisburg) as well as decoiling units in Hoym and Regensburg. Franz-Günter Kleine and Peter Böttcher serve as Managing Directors of Interfer Stahl GmbH, while Ernst Stratmann oversees commercial management.

The product portfolio of the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certified company comprises slit strip and dimension pieces. Primarily hot rolled products, including pickled articles, are processed in modern slitting and cut-to-length lines.
